I’m The Captain, the person behind Flight Sim Workshop.
I’m based in Western Australia and have been into gaming since I was 8 years old, starting out on a Commodore 64. From there, my interest in sims only grew. Racing sims and flight sims have been a big part of that journey ever since, and over time I found myself especially drawn to aircraft, jetliners, and the systems that make them so interesting to learn.
I don’t come from a real-world aviation background. I’m an enthusiast through and through — someone who enjoys learning aircraft, understanding how systems work, and flying to new destinations in the sim.

Flight Sim Workshop was built to help simmers of all skill levels learn aircraft and aircraft systems in a way that feels approachable and practical.
